Alphonso Davies scores for Bayern Munich in Bundesliga clash

Alphonso Davies scored his first goal for Bayern Munich in their Bundesliga clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

The Canadian winger, who has been in fine form this season, netted the opener after just five minutes as the Bavarians took control of the match.

Davies, who has made a strong impression since joining Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps last summer,Primeira Liga Updates was involved in all three of Bayern's goals in the 4-1 win.

His first came from a corner that he headed into the back of the net and his second came after only two minutes of injury time when he scored with a powerful shot from outside the box.

Eintracht Frankfurt were unable to find a way back into the game and Bayern continued to dominate proceedings throughout the match.

Their third goal came courtesy of Thomas Muller, who added to Bayern's lead with a well-taken effort.

Despite not being able to secure all three points, Bayern will be confident of continuing their winning run and staying at the top of the Bundesliga table. Davies' goal is likely to boost their confidence further ahead of important matches against Dortmund and Wolfsburg in the coming weeks.
